MAKARIA ELIXABETE aka Marissa Macias is a singer, performer, recording artist, songwriter, model, filmmaker, actor, producer and director.

Her first album titled "Ritmo De Mi Vida" was released in 2014 and re-released in 2021. She sings and performs latin-pop, pop, dance, eclectic, and ballads in both English and in Spanish.

Makaria has been inspired since childhood by the musical and vocal excellence of Luis Miguel, an international Latin icon. Her father, Ernesto Macias, began a music career in the late 1980's and Makaria was also inspired to pursue music due to his influence. 

 

MAKARIA's singles "This Could Be Love"  - "I Love You But Can't You See" - "Jump The Lava Hot With Fire" - "Twin Flame" - "LA My Kind of Place (cover remake)- "Like A Bottle of Liquor" - "Twilight World" (cover remake) - were completed and released in 2022.

 

She completed the final material for her second album in mid 2023, titled"Making Makaria." This album was named to highlight the change of her stage name with the arrival of new music.

The end of 2023 saw the release of a single; Makaria's English release of an old cover song originally done in Spanish, titled"Don't Lie To Me Corazon." 

​

2024 has brought the release of her new songs "Let Me Tell You Something," - "Perdoname." the English remake of a Luis Miguel song now titled in English, "Give Me," and rounding out the end of the year with one more single and music video production titled "Rise Above."
